Installation: 2014

Company: Tarsons

Molecular biology experiments routinely depend on electrophoresis for the qualitative analysis of DNA, amplicons etc. The technique is based on the separation of charged molecules by applying electric field. The Midi submarine electrophoresis unit is useful for the separation of DNA and RNA using agarose gel.

Midi submarine gel unit has a compact tank reduces the
buffer volume required to cover the gel, providing greater
control over the voltage gradient and run-time. The
UV-transparent running tray allows the user to image

the gel without risk of damage due to handling. The unit
includes buffer chamber, safety lid with cables, UV
transparent tray and one each 1.5 mm thick 15 and 20 well combs.
